If getting to heaven were anything like getting into the Olympics, then no one would make it. The fact is none of us are good enough to spend eternity in God’s presence. But Father Mike Schmitz reminds us that we don’t have to be good enough. God wants us to surrender our lives to him, while accepting and responding to his grace and love. He doesn’t want just your good deeds or just your faith. He wants all of you. When we give our lives completely to Christ, we will find eternal life in him.
